Prof. Anelia Iantcheva is professional expert in the field of plant genetics, biotechnology, and genomics of model and crop legumes. She holds academic position professor from May 2022 in professional direction 4.3 Biological Sciences, scientific specialty Genetics at AgroBioInstitute, scientific and research institute which belongs to Agricultural Academy of Bulgaria. She defended the scientific degree Doctor of Sciences (DSc) in November 2019 in professional direction 4.3 Biological Sciences. Her doctoral studies 1989-1996, topic: “Regeneration and Genetic Transformation of Bulgarian mini carnation varieties”. Thesis Defense February 1997 – educational and scientific degree “Doctor”, PhD.
