The World Soybean Research Conference took place under the motto ‘soybean research for sustainable development‘ from 18 – 23 June 2023 – for the first time in Europe, Vienna.

Five major themes of the conference were eleborated in over 30 scientific parallel sessions, 4 plenaries and 2 poster sessions. These themes contributed of:

• A Breeding, genetics, genomics, and biotechnology
• B Food, feed, and nutrition
• C Agronomy, physiology, and agrotechnology
• D Weeds, diseases, pests, and their managment
• E Business, legal, and corporate social responsibility.

Over 500 scientific contributions from scientists from all major soybean producing countries including China, the United States, Argentina, Canada, Brazil, India, Ukraine, France, Serbia, Japan and South Korea were shared and discussed at the conference.
